The inspiration for this lightweight yet rugged vest is the Himalayan village of Tingri, where trekkers and climbers start their epic ascent to Everest base camp. Made from 100% high-pile polyester fleece, the Tingri Vest in Tamur River will keep you warm while allowing excellent freedom of movement, whether you’re rambling in the great outdoors or window shopping on the high street. Additional features include a wax, water-repellent finish on key areas such as the shoulders and back and pocket flaps in a 65% polyester and 35% cotton mix fabric. Wear over a warm base as part of your layering system for the perfect combination.
A town in Southern Tibet. It is often used as a base by mountain climbers to ascend Everest and Cho Oyu. Also used to be an important trading post where Sherpas from Nepal traded for Tibetan wool, livestock and salt.
High pile heathered fleece made of 100% polyester/ Overlays on back yoke and pocket flap are 65% polyester/ 35% cotton plain weave with a DWR (durable water-repellent) treatment.
