A highly versatile jacket, the Tingri Jacket in Kharani is perfect for when the weather starts to turn colder, whether you’re heading for the high peaks or just popping out to the shops. This lightweight jacket is made from high-pile 100% polyester fleece with separate 65% polyester and 35% cotton weave features on the back and pocket. When temperatures plummet, use the jacket as part of a layering system to maintain a warm body temperature. As an outer layer, the water-repellent and wax finish across the shoulders and back will protect you from the rain. Named after the Himalayan base camp where climbers train for climbing Everest and Cho Oyu, the Tingri jacket is available to order in three subtle colours.
A town in Southern Tibet. It is often used as a base by mountain climbers to ascend Everest and Cho Oyu. Also used to be an important trading post where Sherpas from Nepal traded for Tibetan wool, livestock and salt.
